Using Nutrition to Protect from Infectious Diseases

The Department of Nutritional Sciences at The University of Texas will host a talk entitled "Using Nutrition to Protect From Infectious Disease" presented by Dr. Simin Meydani, eminent nutritional scientist and director of the Jean Mayer USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts University. Dr. Meydani is the Jean Andrews Centennial Visiting Professor of Human Nutrition. A reception will follow the talk. The event is free and members of the Austin community are welcome.
