Carnaval Brasileiro is Austin's Brazilian-style Mardi Gras, now the largest such event in the world with more than 6000 revelers. Featuring non-stop live traditional Carnaval music from two powerful bands, NYC's Beleza Brazil and Austin's own Acadêmicos da Opera with more than 75 drummers and dancers, just like the enormous carnaval parade groups in Rio.
