Students will learn and practice the fundamentals of body placement and turnout of the legs required for ballet. No prior experience is needed and the French terminology of ballet will be explained. The class will follow a traditional structure of barre work, center work, jumps and traveling across the floor. Students will develop precise footwork, graceful port de bras (carriage of the arms) and the correct positions and lines of ballet.
This class meets Mondays at 6:45 PM.
