Speaking & signing: Rick Riordan - 'Mark of Athena'

We're thrilled to welcome Rick Riordan back to BookPeople with his latest book, The Mark of Athena! All are welcome to join us in a big celebration out in our parking lot where Rick will give a special presentation and we'll enjoy fun games and activities. We'll have awesome giveaways and food available for purchase from Austin's Pizza and other local vendors. The party is free to attend, no tickets are necessary.

We will be giving away 1,000 t-shirts at the party on October 8th! T-shirts are available only at the event to people who purchase a copy of The Mark of Athena from BookPeople. T-shirts are first come, first serve at the party. You must present a BookPeople receipt for the purchase of a copy of The Mark of Athena in order to receive the t-shirt. (One t-shirt per copy of Mark of Athena purchased from BookPeople. T-shirts cannot be shipped or held.)

Why is this event happening on a Monday afternoon? Because it's Columbus Day! Most young readers will have shortened school days or the whole day off from school.
