“Ilimaq.” Innovative American composer John Luther Adams — whose minimalist music has always been strongly influenced by nature and a sonic sense of place — presents the debut of “Ilimaq” (“Spirit Journeys”), a drum kit opera written for percussionist Glenn Kotche, drummer of the alternative rock band Wilco. The concert also features additional works performed by Kotche’s duo On Fillmore, with bassist Darin Gray. 8 p.m. today.
