Top Austin Model Casting 2013

Top Austin Model is an annual, multistage competition for Austin-based models.  Top Austin Model was created in 2011 and exclusively features Austin-based talent and businesses to serve as a platform creative fashion professionals in Austin, Texas.
The Casting event is free and open to the public of all ages.  We encourage family, friends, and fans to come support your favorite Austin models!  Drink passes will be available for our guests 21+ to purchase on site ($10) that includes open bar access… Show more while supplies last, thanks to Little Black Dress Vodka.  
*Models must arrive at 6pm for check-in and all registrants must be present for consideration. Models under the age of 18 must attend with a parent or guardian.
 
Model Participation Requirements:
- must be based in Austin
- female models only
- 14 years or older
- cannot be signed with an agency
- minimum height 5'7
- must maintain size 0-6
*All model participants are required to pay a $15 registration fee.  You may pre-register here by credit card or at the Casting on Saturday, January 19 with cash, check, or money order.  All participants must be present at the casting for consideration. Participants under the age of 18 must attend with a parent or guardian.  Each model participant will receive one free ticket to the Top Austin Model Finale on Sunday, March 24.  
 
 
 
M O D E L    C A S T I N G
Models will learn about our sponsors, event details, and mingle before having the opportunity to walk twice for our panel of judges. This event will be open to the public.  Fifteen Models will be selected to move on to the next stage of the competition.
 
P H O T O    S H O O T S Models will participate in a photo shoot prior to each runway show.  Models will be allotted a limited number of frames and the panel will chose one photo to be edited and given to the model for her portfolio for each shoot.  These edited photos will be placed on the website and featured during the Finale Event. 
 
S H O W C A S E    E V E N T The 15 semi-finalists will participate in a fashion show featuring local boutiques, Hair Stylists, and Makeup Artists.  Ten models will be selected to move on to the next round.
 
 
F I N A L E    E V E N T Models will participate in a fashion show featuring local designers, Hair Stylists, Makeup Artists, and Entertainers.  The winner will be announced at the end of the night and prizes will be awarded.
