The Austin Civic Wind Ensemble, Austin's oldest community concert band fall concert will feature a selection from the epic Ein Heldenleben by Richard Strauss, the Peer Gynt Suite by Grieg, music from the movie Robin Hood, McBeth's Fifth Trumpeter and the ever popular Elsa's Procession by Wagner. The concert will also include a work by ACWE's very own Ben Aldridge called Foundry, which features the band's extremely talented percussion section.
