On Friday, November 16, Speed TV ’s Will Buxton and The Austin Grand Prix will welcome F1 fans to join them for a night of karaoke and good ‘ol pub antics at Fado Irish Pub . Will has hosted two previous meetups, both at the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal, which proved to be a great fun!

After the karaoke contest Houston Texas-based "Stout Irish Rock" Band, The Blaggards, will perform a free show until 2:00AM.

The Austin Grand Prix officially supports Meals on Wheels and More, Inc., an Austin non-profit organization that provides food and services to homebound individuals. We are suggesting a $5 donation in order to support this great Austin charity.

What is the cost of the event?
The event is free and open to the public. Guests will be responsible for their own beverage and food costs (“cash barâ€*). Guests are suggested to make a $5 donation at the door to benefit charity partner, Meals on Wheels and More, Inc.
How do I register for karaoke?
Click on the "Order Now" button above to register for karaoke, queue up your preferred song, and sign the waiver. Bring a printed copy with you to the door. Please note, completing this registration Does Not guarantee entry.
Are there Id requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
The drinking age in the State of Texas is 21 years of age. Bars require all patrons to be 21 years of age to enter. Door staff, wait staff and bartenders often require you to show photo identification to prove that you are of legal drinking age in order to enter the bar and before serving or selling alcohol to you.
Can I smoke at Fado Irish Pub?
In the City of Austin, smoking is not allowed in public places or within 15 feet of any pedestrian entrance. This ban includes bars and restaurant establishments.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
It is unlawful and unsafe to operate a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, and the penalties for breaking this law are severe. Parking in downtown Austin will be severely limited during F1 weekend, particularly around Fado Irish Pub. Surrounding streets will be closed off for the Austin Fan Fest. All guests are strongly encouraged to utilize public transportation, taxi cabs, pedi cabs or walk to Fado Irish Pub on foot.
All guests will be required to agree to a waiver before entering the venue for this event. Y ou have the ability to consent to this waiver in advance by pre-registering now on this event page.
