A panel/community discussion will be presented with support from the City Cultural Arts Division about creating a Folk Art Museum. We hope to build a coalition of artistic, ethnic, civic, and business groups and individuals, embracing all forms of folk art: visual and performing arts, dance, music, rituals, narrative, food ways, traditional medicine and healing, architecture, traditional craftsmanship and practices, and to represent the cultural diversity of the Austin area.
