Three songs and less than 10 minutes into a recent show at the Frontier Bar in east Austin, Brian Rowland is stalking through the crowd shirtless, singing a song (“Animal Gagmetism”) that rhymes “erotic” with “vomit on Andy Roddick” and snarling come-ons and vague threats at anyone who enters his line of sight.
