Unsilent Night

It's a singular participatory, promenading concert. Or maybe its a moving sound sculpture. Actually, it's both. Once again, new-music purveyors Fast Forward Austin will stage Phil Kline's "Unsilent Night," a piece written specifically for outdoor performance in December. Anyone who'd like to participate will get one of four music tracks in the form of a cassette, CD or mp3. Together all four tracks comprise Kline's "Unsilent Night." With boom boxes or anything that amplifies music, participants parade… Show more through the downtown streets as all four tracks are simultaneously played. This year, the free event starts at the historic Buford Tower, the 1931 brick clock/bell tower on the north shore of Lady Bird Lake.
