Action Pack: Ultimate 80's Sing-Along

We’ve been putting together specially themed Sing-Alongs and releasing them on a monthly basis for years now, but after uncovering a vault of hundreds of new (to us) music videos from the ‘80s we realized that this would be the year for a big change. And so starting this January the Action Pack is proud to announce that we’re going to have weekly Totally ‘80s Parties at a whole bunch of Alamo theaters, and every week’s show will be a completely new mix!

You’re going to need a new closet full of… Show more leg warmers, and expect to go through several pair of fishnet gloves, too. Each week you’ll get an entirely new mix of subtitled music videos featuring all of the best pop artists of the ‘80s, so no matter how many nights you come out you’ll never see the same show twice.

As you read this, our Action Pack DJs are hard at work creating mixes that move from Def Leppard to Madonna with a healthy dose of Depeche Mode to bridge the gap. They’re seamlessly blending a dance party that moves from The Safety Dance to Dancing in the Streets while Whitney Houston cries out that she wants to dance with somebody, and don’t forget every music video is hand subtitled so you won’t just dance, you’ll also be singing along at the top of your lungs. Of course each week we’ll also have an assortment of extra props and favors to make the show a party, so expect plenty of glow sticks, balloons, streamers and more.

Oh yeah! And because that’s not enough excitement we’ll also have our emcees open each show with a karaoke contest, so if you think you know your ‘80s songs and have the voice to prove it you can come up on stage and show off for a chance to win Alamo prizes!
