An Evening with OK Computer (with special guest J. Wesley Haynes Quartet)

This is really haaaaaaappening!

On Friday, January 11th, 2013, a collection of Austin’s finest will join forces at One-2-One Bar to pay tribute to one of the greatest albums of all time: Radiohead’s OK Computer. Originally planned as a 15-year anniversary show, scheduling conflicts lead to us having to push it back. So now it’s more of a 15-and-a-half, just-got-its-driver’s-permit kind of celebration. Or just a hell of a way to start the new year, Fitter [and] Happier. Reason enough!

We’ve poured… Show more many, many hours of transcription, research, and rehearsal into recreating the album on stage, note for note, from start to finish. It will be so awe-inspiring that everyone in attendance will probably develop a new-found sense of purpose. We will also have a few extra numbers to treat you to at the end. You don’t want to make the mistake of missing this---unless walking a line of lifelong shame and regret is your kind of thing…

We will be joined by the J. Wesley Haynes Quartet, who will keep with the Radiohead theme by performing their take on Kid A, aptly named Kid J.
