“If You Love It, Let It Do”

From Oakland-based Crim City Collective comes a site-specific installation by Will Grant, P.J. Maracle and Ross Yates. Using marker pens, paint, colorful repurposed material and scarp building material, the collective creates explosive, sprawling and delightfully messy installations. Think maximalism not minimalism. Think frenzied craftmaking, not refined art technique. As the collective declares: “There is no reservation, no thought and no plan to our methods. We see value in the activity, the materials… Show more and the motion.
