The Afa will be awarding a total of $3760 in Scholarships to local-area students on Thursday, January 17, 6pm- 8pm, at Café Express,3418 North Lamar
34 undergraduates from 4 local colleges & universities registered to take part in a 2 hour essay writing contest the Afa organized at its School at 4101 Medical Parkway.
The Alliance Française d'Austin has been awarding scholarships for the last 17 years funded by donations and proceeds from its large annual Bastille Day fundraising Festival.
