In his exquisitely rendered almost hyper-realistic graphite drawings, watercolors and oil paintings, Swedish artist Carl Hammoud depicts scenes and objects seemingly from laboratories, museums, libraries, archives, offices or classrooms. These are hardly ordinary scenes though: Hammoud infuses his tableaux with considerable mystery and enigma. Opening reception: 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday. Exhibit continues through March 16.
