Open Studios: Print Expo 2013

Austin is arguably a printmaking town. But what exactly is a fine art print? In a free afternoon open house, the University of Texas’ printmaking areas open their studios and provide demonstrations of various printmaking processes, including intaglio, relief printing, lithography, serigraphy (silkscreening), digital processes and book arts. In addition printmakers from Austin studios Flatbed Press, Coronado Studio and Slugfest Printmaking Workshop, as well as organizations such as Women Printmakers… Show more of Austin and Texas Printmakers, will exhibit prints and provide information about their activities.
