A heady swirl of candy coated bleeps and bloops floated over the audience as the Swedish electro pop duo Icona Pop sound checked, drawing an early Friday afternoon crowd of maybe one hundred. It was an interesting mix of the curious and the already converted that gathered. Bearded guys, girls in bright neon tank tops and a shirtless dude with turquoise skinny jeans and matching glasses who clearly knew what was up.
