Vampire Weekend and Wild Cub

Thursday, Apr 24 7:00p

Perennial Austin fave Vampire Weekend will be in town for a Stubb's show on April 24, 2014. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through c3concerts.com and they most certainly will sell out.

The band was in town a couple months ago for Austin City Limits Festival 2013. They were supporting their fantastic release "Modern Vampires of the City" a complex and emotional indie pop gem that has floated to the top of many 2013 top albums list.

Formed in early 2012 by songwriter-composer Keegan DeWitt and multi-instrumentalist Jeremy Bullock, Wild Cub's debut LP 'Youth' was released last August in the US, and showcases the now five-piece band's dexterity in seamless transitions between infectious electro-pop, tropical rhythms, and quiet washes of cinematic reflection.
