Performers Coming to this Venue
Morrissey
Morrissey
As the lead singer of the Smiths, arguably the most important indie band in Britain during the '80s, Morrissey's theatrical crooning and literate, poetic lyrics -- filled with romantic angst, social alienation, and cutting wit -- connected powerfully with a legion of similarly sensitive, disaffected youth....
Kristeen Young
Kristeen Young
Kristeen Young is a piano/keyboard and drums "rock" duo, in the golden years sense of the word, when rock was simultaneously adventurous, original, scary and fun. Think saw-toothed riffs reminiscent of JIMMY PAGE and tub-thumping, bootknocking drums born of the same era and you're halfway there....
NeedtoBreathe
NeedtoBreathe
Rivers In The Wasteland, NEEDTOBREATHE's latest album, opens a new chapter in the South Carolina-based rock band's story. But the band, comprised of brothers Bear and Bo Rinehart and Seth Bolt, couldn't have arrived here without the tumultuous narrative that came before, each aspect of their career building up to this point....
The Oh Hellos
The Oh Hellos
The Oh Hellos are Maggie and Tyler Heath, intentionally-independent self-produced music-making siblings hailing from the great state of Texas. Their influences range from Los Campesinos! and The Lumineers to Sufjan Stevens and The Middle East, bending and blending styles and genres into a unique mixture of eclectic folk rock....

HORRIBLE!

Under normal circumstances, old run-down venues can be easily excused as 'austin charmed' but there is nothing 'charming' about this place. The staff is a motley crew of the rude and mindlessly lost. Considering the manager, 'Jeff', whose offensive, childish demeanor runs rampant in the chaos, it's no surprise the employees feel free to follow his example to scurry about either pushy, lost, or terrified, absent of any real leadership.
This venue was severely over-booked for a concert I waited three months to attend. Dozens of innocent, paying customers (and more, I'm sure, as they poured in through the doors as we left), dealt with 30 minutes of being yelled at by security to find a seat where none was to be had. There was no where to even stand. No one knew what to do and there were no refunds to be given.
Never, ever will I attend an event at this venue. I highly encourage those who wish to go, make sure you are 3 hours early to get a seat and, oh yes, make sure your tetanus shots are up-to-date.
