Alamo Drafthouse Lake Creek

Where when you are buying tickets or looking at show times does it say you have to be in the theater before the show starts. Especially when it's a 9:30 am Casper show for kids. Seriously... Alamo Drafthouse at Lake creek wouldn't allow my kids and I into the theater because we were 15 mins late and the show had already started. The man said sorry its our policy. I can understand your policy if it was a late night, just came out adult movie, but really. A Casper the friendly ghost movie that has been out for probably 10 years and they are showing at 9:30 AM. Give me a break!!! My kids were so upset. I'll never return to another Alamo Drafthouse.

It's been about three years since my husband and I caught a movie at an Alamo theatre and I gotta be honest....it was a below average experience. Our main issue is that we overpaid for what I consider 'ball-park' food and the beer/wine is on the high end of the price scale as well. I had the Philly Cheesesteak and was totally disappointed. Have you ever heard of a cheesesteak w/no cheese. Tsk,...Tsk....Alamo. Our advice if you want to do a dinner and movie date night.....plan to eat before or after the movie unless you're into 'ball-park' food. And at that point...might as well go to a theatre that has more comfortable seating and less noise and movement.
