The Holiday Season in Bastrop is unlike any other. The lighted Christmas Parade on the second Saturday of December features over 100 entries, from floats to cowboys on horseback, all lit up for the holidays, and draws crowds from all over Central Texas. This parade follows a day of activities - Christmas Salebration and street shopping on Main and Pine Streets, and the Historic Homes Tour, sponsored by the Bastrop County Historical Society.
