Intermediate Photography

Beginning Photoshop - This class will take students from the basics of organizing their images, RAW Conversion, Photo optimization - color, exposure, contrast, sharpening, red eye correction. *For ages 16 & up. Class 1: Introduction - file organization, metadata, digital photography workflow, Raw Conversion Class 2: Working in Layers - levels adjustments, curves adjustments, color balance and saturation, dodging and burning. Class 4: Manipulating photographs for Fine Art - using photographic filters to create line drawings, watercolor art, and other painting effects on photographic images. Intermediate Photoshop - This class will take students into more advanced Photoshop techniques. (Please see specific date for class by class description.) This class will take students into more advanced Photoshop techniques. CLASS 1 - Post processing for Black & White Photography, CLASS 2 - Portrait Photography: techniques to retouch portraits and bring out the natural beauty in your portraits, CLASS 3 - Creating Composites & Collages: the art of seperating out elements in your image and placing them in a new setting, how to make a creative photographic collage of images. CLASS 4 - Graphic Design: creative us of text with Photoshop.
