An embarrassment for all involved, the marital comedy "Date Night" doesn't make you laugh so much as it fills you, scene by scene, with a creeping sense of nausea. As it begins, you excuse its bright sitcom complexion and breezy lack of a point of view, knowing that comic power couple Tina Fey and Steve Carell are there to pull the drawstrings tight. So you wait. There they are, all right. Do something droll. Crack the funny whip. Be all Tina Fey-y and Steve Carell-y — smart, now, bitingly self-deprecating.
