Olivia Colman

Olivia Colman has become one of the most critically acclaimed actresses in the UK. In 2011 she starred in Paddy Considine’s award winning Tyrannosaur. Her performance earned her a Best Actress Award at the British Independent Film Awards and a nomination for Best Actress at the Satellite Awards and London Film Critics Circle Awards (also for The Iron Lady). Olivia’s theatre credits include: England People Very Nice (National Theatre), The Three Some (Lyric Hammersmith) and A Long Day’s Journey Into… Show more Night (Lyric Theatre). On television she is well known for playing the much loved character Sophie Chapman in the Peep Show series (British Comedy Award nomination and Golden Nymph Award nomination), Harriet Schulenburg in the Green Wing series and Alex Smallbone in Rev. Upcoming she will be seen in Bad Sugar on Channel 4 alongside Sharon Horgan, Julia Davis and Peter Serafinowicz. Her other television credits include: Twenty Twelve, Beautiful People, That Mitchell and Webb Look (Golden Nymph Award nomination for outstanding actress), Mister Eleven, Hancock and Joan, Consuming Passion and Exile. Olivia’s upcoming film credits include: The Iron Lady starring Meryl Streep and directed by Phyllida Lloyd and Hyde Park on Hudson.
