Studied acting with Sanford Meisner at New York's Neighborhood Playhouse. Big Broadway break was a 1979 production of Bent , costarring with Richard Gere. Also in 1979, made a splash as "Ajax" in cult hit The Warriors , directed by Walter Hill, with whom he would later work in 48 Hrs. (1982) and Wild Bill (1995). Has played recurring characters on Sex and the City , Third Watch and 7th Heaven . Voice credits include Justice League Unlimited , the 2005 video game The Warriors and… Show more the 2011 film Transformers: Dark of the Moon . In 2007, was nominated for a Saturn Award, which honors the best in film and television in science fiction, fantasy and horror genres, for Best Supporting Actor in the Showtime series Dexter .
