Meryll

What began as a 4-piece rock band based in the "Live Music Capital of the World" known as Austin, Texas, Meryll has become the solo vehicle for recording engineer/touring sound-man Andrew Hernandez. 2009 saw the release of "Rimziate," his poppiest album to date, produced by Jason Martin of Starflyer 59. This was followed by a European tour supporting Balmorhea, and a subsequent move to Chicago to work as a house engineer at Soma Studios. 2010 brought the "Natchitoches" EP, a hushed nylon-string affair,… Show more followed by "The Party On The North Face," another EP, this time with Tim Kinsella manning the board. "Haunts, Volume 1: The Palace" followed in early 2012. The release coincided with a 3-week U.S. tour supporting Victor Villarreal (Joan of Arc, Cap'n Jazz).
