Kerrville Folk Festival

The Kerrville Folk Festival in Kerrville, TX, began in 1972 as a gathering of 13 performers who were friends. The festival has been going strong into the 21st century and continues to garner rave reviews while drawing acclaimed musicians in the folk, country, bluegrass, and alternative music fields. The festival lasts 18 days or so, and attendees can often enjoy music that goes on long into the night after the main shows are over. Brief Description of KFF These Days...

The Kerrville Folk Festival is held annually in late May with 18 continuous days of performances by more than 100 singer songwriters and their bands. There are kids activities & concerts, music workshops in songwriting, blues guitar, ukulele and harmonica, as well as capo, music law, and teachers' education workshops. The annual New Folk Songwriting Competition features 32 of the best of America's emerging songwriters. Food, ice, beer & wine are available. Weekends have 50+ Arts & Craft Vendors. It's a great place for Kerrverts of all ages!
